KTR Visits COVID-19 Containment Zones In Hyderabad

After already paying several visits to virus-hit zones, Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister (MAUD) KT Rama Rao continued his inspection visits as he reviewed the situation in three containment zones namely Khairatabad, Mallepally and Asif Nagar in the state capital, Hyderabad.

He reviewed the precautionary measures being taken at these containment zones and also interacted and appealed to the citizens to follow social distancing strictly to prevent spread of virus.

He saw relieved them by saying that the government has made necessary arrangements to provide essential goods to residents at their doorsteps so that they don’t need to move outside for the same.

He highlighted the importance of social distancing and read some do’s and don’ts to the citizens to make them aware of the necessary precautionary measures. The minister later interacted with medical and sanitation workers in the containment zones and enquired about the conditions prevailing in their respective areas.

The minister was accompanied by Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Lokesh Kumar and corporator Vijaya Reddy.
