KTR Warns Media Over False Reports on BRS Merger
Hyderabad: On Wednesday, KT Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), issued a stern warning to media outlets propagating rumors about a potential merger between the BRS and a national political party. KTR demanded that these media houses retract their false reports and issue a public correction, or face legal consequences. His strong response came in the wake of widespread speculation about the party’s future, which he emphatically dismissed as baseless.
Taking to social media platform X, KTR stated, “This is a final warning to those spreading false rumors with hidden agendas. Cease this baseless propaganda or be prepared for legal action. Publish a rejoinder to your malicious lies against the BRS.” He reaffirmed that the BRS, which has been serving the people of Telangana for over two decades, will continue its mission undeterred.
KTR emphasized that the BRS has survived numerous challenges, including attempts at sabotage and misinformation campaigns. He highlighted the party’s resilience and dedication to the state, underscoring its role in the creation and development of Telangana—a state that has become a model of progress for others. “Millions of hearts beat together for one identity and emotion—Telangana! We will never bow down. Not now, not ever!” he asserted, reinforcing the party's commitment to its cause.
