KTR and Harish Rao Pay Tribute to Telangana Martyrs
BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao paid tribute to Telangana movement martyrs on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day and extended greetings to the people of the state. Both leaders highlighted the sacrifices made during the struggle for statehood and reaffirmed their commitment to protecting Telangana’s identity and interests.
KT Rama Rao described June 2 as a historic day that ended decades of discrimination and neglect faced by Telangana. He said the state’s formation fulfilled a long-standing aspiration of its people and credited former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for successfully leading the movement. Rama Rao also urged BRS workers to continue serving the public and safeguarding Telangana from forces that could undermine its interests.
Harish Rao echoed similar sentiments, stating that Telangana’s creation represented the victory of self-respect and the aspirations of nearly four crore people. He emphasized that the achievement was the result of collective efforts by various sections of society under KCR’s leadership.
Harish Rao further noted that Telangana had emerged as a model state in welfare and development over the past decade. He called on citizens to remain committed to preserving the values, identity, and self-respect that inspired the Telangana movement. Both leaders said the legacy of the struggle should continue to guide the state’s future development.
