KTR claims the government is ignoring the suffering of the poor in relation to the HYDRAA demolitions.
Hyderabad: In the midst of HYDRAA's continuous demolitions, BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a vicious attack on the Congress-led State government, accusing it of ignoring the suffering of the underprivileged.
He singled out A Tirupathi Reddy, the brother of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, for special treatment and a 30-day notice period that allowed him to petition the court for a stay of proceedings.
Rama Rao highlighted multiple instances in which regular citizens were negatively impacted by government actions while discussing the predicament of the impoverished who lost their homes on X.
"Vedashree, an LKG student, had her house demolished before she had a chance to gather her books. These callous demolitions cost Kasturi Bai, a 50-year-old woman, her sole means of support—a tiny shoe store. Homes that had been purchased just 72 hours earlier were demolished carelessly, even though they had all the necessary paperwork," he said.
