KTR protests against the privatization of Singareni
On April 8, members of the BRS party who oppose the privatisation of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd will gather in large numbers in Singareni to voice their opinions. (SCCL).
K T Ramao, the working president of the BRS, issued a call for these get-togethers. Mancherial, Bhupalpally, Kothagudem, and Ramagundam were targeted for large sit-ins.
KTR pointed out that Prime Minister Modi had lied in Ramagundam when he said Singareni wouldn't be privatised. His question was about privatising the successful Singareni. KTR pushed for it to be guaranteed that Singareni would get the coal mines without an auction. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had planned to provide free electricity to farmers, but he said the federal government was working against this goal. He praised the Singareni family as Telangana's "economic and social bloodline." KTR made it plain that BRS would step up its agitation and public activity if the centre did not back off on the privatisation of Singareni.
