KTR refutes Modi's claims relating BRS's development of political partnerships.
Minister KT Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS, has said emphatically that the party has never sought to forge political coalitions in elections since the State's founding.
He was replying to statements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that BRS was looking to form coalitions with the NDA for the next elections.
Using social media, Minister Rama Rao emphasized that the opposition parties have always formed coalitions and set aside differences in ideology in order to take on the powerful K Chandrashekhar Rao-led administration.
In addition, he brought up an earlier event from 2018 in which Dr. K Laxman, the president of the BJP State at the time, had hinted at forming an alliance with BRS before to the GHMC elections. But they quickly turned down the offer, demonstrating their dedication to separate political pursuits.
The BRS working president refuted the Prime Minister's accusations, saying that those who are creating tales as political tourists with selective amnesia should be aware of this.
He wondered what the point of such a thing was. Why should BRS form an alliance with a party that failed to win deposits in 105 assembly constituencies, he questioned?
Rama Rao further emphasized BRS's impressive electoral record, especially in the GHMC elections when they proved they could create a government of their own.
In order to be clear, he stressed that BRS is a party of fighters, not cheats, and that they are dedicated to their political beliefs and autonomous course of action.
