KTR says that BRS will win 90 to 100 seats.
The party's acting president, KT Rama Rao, said that the BRS would win 90 to 100 seats to get a hat-trick, and its leader, K Chandrashekhar Rao, will be the Chief Minister for the third time. He also asked the Congress and the BJP to name their candidates for Chief Minister. He said that the BJP would not even keep the seats of Goshamahal, Dubbak, and Huzurabad, so forget about winning the polls. He also noted that neither BRS nor the people of the State were serious about the BJP.
In a free-flowing conversation with reporters here on Thursday, Minister KT Rama Rao was very honest about his thoughts on many different things. He said that the election results in Karnataka won't affect Telangana. He said that Karnataka got rid of a bad government. He criticized the BJP leaders by saying that while Manipur was on fire, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and eight other Chief Ministers were busy campaigning in Karnataka. Even though the Prime Minister worked hard on public relations, he said BJP lost at the polls.
When asked about reports that AIMIM wants to run for more Assembly seats in Telangana, the BRS working president said each party could run for as many seats as they wanted. Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, was quoted as saying that the BRS government had not failed to look out for the safety of minorities. In response, he said that the same Majlis chief had praised the Telangana government for its steps to help minorities when he was campaigning in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the Telangana government was making sure that growth was broad, integrated, inclusive, and fair. "In fact, the State had too much of everything."
