Kajol Pens Foreword of Book on Sridevi
Kajol, one of the bold, beautiful, unconventional, and a versatile actor of Bollywood. She has ruled the film industry with her personality and incredible talent in the 90s and continues to win the hearts of millions of her fans. She has a remarkable fashion sense.
Kajol mostly involved in social activities. She is dealing with Shiksha, an NGO that works for children’s education and they support to lesser privileged children. Besides acting and serving people, she loves to read and write, in her free time, she will be engaged with writing poetry or read sci-fi and horror novels.
Recently, she has written the foreword of the much-awaited book on the life of legendary actress Sridevi. The title of the book is Sridevi: The Eternal Screen Goddess has been written by author-screenwriter Satyarth Nayak and has the approval of Sridevi's husband, producer Boney Kapoor.
Kajol says that Sridevi fans across the world would love the book, that shows the life of the five-decade-long journey of the actress from child star to the immortal legend. Kajol said that "I have grown up watching Sridevi’s superstardom on film-sets and her magic on the big screen. She is an institution of acting and will forever remain my most favorite icon."
Nayak also told that Kajol is the perfect person to write the foreword. He told that "Kajol is an industry kid and has had the first-hand experience of Sridevi’s glory in the 80s and 90s. Also as one of our finest artistes, Kajol has keenly observed and emulated Sridevi over the years. All this gets beautifully reflected in her foreword. It’s a truly heartfelt piece, symbolic of a generation of actresses who were inspired by the legendary aura of Sridevi."
The book is expected to release in November. The actress died at the age of 54 in Dubai, after a case of accidental drowning. She had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah in Dubai. She had a state funeral on February 28 in India.
