Karthi As Sardar

Young actor Karthi was last seen essaying the lead in Sulthan in which the actor shared the screen space with Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna, under the direction of Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The actor is now working for his next movie, which is titled as Sardar.

The upcoming film, Sardar is directed by PS Mithran, who earlier made Irumbu Thirai and Hero, and the film has Venky Mama fame actress Raashi Khanna as the leading actress. In this upcoming movie Karthi will make his screen presence in dual role and the makers of the film, Sardar also revealed the first look poster of the film.

Regular shoot of the film will be started from 26th of coming month. Apart from the lead pair, the movie Sardar also features Rajisha Vijayan in the key roles. George C Williams has been roped in to take care of the cinematography department and GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the film.

Ruben is the editor, K Kadhir is the art director. Sardar story is written by M.R Pon Parthipan, Roju, Bipin Ragu, which is being produced by S.Lakshman Kumar. On the otherside, the actor also has Mani Ratnam’ magnum opus the multistarrer Ponniyin Selvan, which also features Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha and others in the key roles.
