Karthi Pongal Wishes In Telugu!

Tamil actor Karthi has become very close to Telugu people through his films such as Awara, Oopiri, Kaashmora, Khaithi and Donga. Khaithi which was released in 2019 has got a great response for Karthi’s wonderful performance and its story. Donga has also become super hit in Telugu. As Karthi films also getting releases in Telugu, he often attends Telugu interviews. In many interviews, we can see this hero speaking Telugu fluently, without any flaws. Now, another interesting thing done by Karthi has impressed many people. He took to Twitter and wished his Telugu fans on the occasion of Pongal. What surprised many is that he has wished in Telugu! Karthi has two projects in his hands and currently, he is working on his next film ‘Sultan’ which is being directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan. This film will be released this year. After completing this film, he will work for ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ under the direction of Mani Ratnam. Touted to be a historical drama, Ponniyin Selvan will be produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. The film is an adoption of Kalki Krishnamurthy's historical period based fictional novel of the same name.

Ponniyin Selvan has a stellar cast that includes Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashwin Kakumanu and Keerthi Suresh. A.R. Rahman is scoring the music while Ravi Varman is handling camera work. A. Sreekar Prasad is the editor. The movie will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
