Story:

Karthikeya (Nikhil Siddharth) is a doctor by profession and a group of people are in search of Lord Sri Krishna’ ornaments. Karthikeya is called to Dwaraka and there he meets his uncle and with Swati (Anupama Parameswaran) plunges into the action to solve a mystery, What is the mystery? Will he be able to solve it ? That forms the rest of the story.

Performance:

Coming to Nikhil, he suits in the role of doctor perfectly and is quite surprising and impressive to see him perform the way he did. The actor had a lot of scope to showcase his talent and delivers it with a lot of ease.

Anupama Parameswaran as Mugdha is crucial to reveal the mystery. Anupam Kher essays an important role in assisting Karthikeya and he justifies with his role. Srinivas Reddy entertains with a few jokes in between. Praveen and Satya, who essay Nikhil’s buddies are good. Viva Harsha is fine and the rest of the cast perform accordingly.

Technical Crew:

The movie owes a lot to cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni and music director, Kaala Bhairava for creating the right mood and ambience for a suspense thriller. Karthikeya 2 is shot in some stunning locations that fit the story perfectly.

Camerawork is superb as the entire set up is designed exceptionally. The good thing about Karthikeya 2 is that it sticks to its storyline and everyone seems to know what they are doing. It is one of the finer movies made in the recent past and in times like these, that in itself is like a big compliment. Important plus point of this movie is the interesting story.

Dialogues penned are decent, and suit the mood of the movie. Coming on the work of Chandoo Mondeti, he made a brilliant choice when he chose to incorporate the most precious anklet of Lord Krishna as the story’s bridge between the Dwaraka and modern world.

Overall Analysis:

Karthikeya 2 is technically a brilliant movie. It is an interesting mystery which makes you stick to your seats
