Kavitha departs for the UK to give an Oxford keynote speech
At Shamshabad airport here on Sunday, party leaders and activists bid BRS MLC K Kavitha a heartfelt goodbye before she departed for the UK. Oxford institution has asked her to give a keynote speech on Monday entitled "Exploring Inclusive Development: The Telangana Model" at the institution.
As she prepared to present Telangana's remarkable advancements under Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's direction on the global stage at the esteemed institution, the BRS cadre showed up at the airport in force and sent their best wishes for her.
She will also discuss the initiatives being taken to support the rural economy and revive traditional vocations. Among the main subjects will be Telangana's rapid progress towards becoming a power surplus state and the Mission Bhagiratha initiative, which aims to make the state the first to offer piped drinking water to every home. She will talk about the Mission Kakatiya initiative's work to restore ponds.
Additionally, Telangana's advancements in urban development, healthcare, and education will be discussed in Kavitha's address. Her speech at Oxford University will also touch on the development of infrastructure, the expansion of Hyderabad, and the law and order situation in the State.
