Kavitha is expected to participate in the ED investigation for the third time today
On Tuesday, Kavitha will presumably be questioned again by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) about the Delhi Excise policy issue.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter, K. Kavitha, is scheduled to be questioned thirdly by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday concerning the Delhi Excise policy case.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC was questioned for nearly ten hours on Monday when businessman Arun Pillai of Hyderabad and limited documentary evidence challenged her. She had initially declined to participate in the investigation at the ED office, but she was now willing to do so via email and from the comfort of her own house. She initially declined to participate but eventually travelled to the nation's capitol to assist with the investigation.
According to reports, Arun Pillai, who represented the South Group, allegedly providing kickbacks of Rs 100 crore to AAP leaders allegedly used during the Goa Assembly elections, confronted her during her first appearance. It has been stated that Pillai claimed to be Kavitha's associate.
Buchchi Babu, a previous auditor for the BRS MLC and current South Group member, gave testimony to the ED on Wednesday.
Kavitha claims that she has never encountered Manish Sisodia, the former Delhi deputy chief minister who has been arrested by the CBI and the ED in connection with the case and that her name is being unjustly dragged into the controversy.
Kavitha is listed as one of South Group's representatives in the ED's excise policy lawsuit.
