Kobbari Matta is Better than Manmadhudu 2!

Sampoornesh Babu’s Kobbari Matta was released on 10^th August 2019 and gained positive response from the audience. Though the film didn’t focus on promotions, the word of mouth after the morning show has made people watch the film for the next shows. This helped the film collecting 50 to 60 lakhs on its first day which is good for its budget! The film is made on a budget of 2 Crores and the pre-release business has happened well and collected the budget amount (approximately).

It is expected that Kobbari Matta will cross 2 to 3 crores this weekend. The film is filled with spoofs and comedy which has attracted all kind of audience. On the other side, Manmadhudu 2 which was made with a budget of 24 Crores had a very dull business. The film has collected 9 Crores on its first day, which is very low compared to the budget. So, we can say Sampu’s Kobbari Matta has collected better at the box office than Manmadhudu 2!

Sampu’s film finally proved that the movie needs content or it should at least entertain them. Manmadhudu 2 which is a routine story has nothing to watch, except a few kiss scenes. Manmadhudu 2 is adopted from a French film which was released years ago. Director Rahul Ravindran choosing the age-old story and Nagarjuna accepting it made people irritated, while Kobbari Matta entertained the audience with its humor. The film is directed by Rupak Ronaldson and produced by Sai Rajesh Neelam under Amrutha productions. Ishika Singh, Shakeela, Mahesh Kathi and Gayathri Gupta played crucial roles in the movie.
