Kodela’s Son Surrenders in Court!

The death of former Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao has increased the ugly spat between TDP and YSRCP. It is known that YSRCP has harassed this TDP leader mentally by filing many cases on him. Also, the criticism and torture about the ‘furniture’ issue by YSRCP has made Kodela even depressed which resulted in suicide. Now, Kodela’s son Sivaram surrendered in the court as there are many cases filed against him after YSRCP has came into power.

Sivaram told the court that his family members didn’t commit any mistakes but all the cases filed were because of the political differences. Before Kodela’s case, YSRCP leaders have filed a lot of cases and threatened Sivaram saying that they will be made him arrest. But, after Kodela’s death, the YCP government has temporarily stopped torturing his family.

Earlier, Sivaram left to Kenya, fearing YCP leaders. He has attended the Kodela’s condolence meeting and addressed the people. As the circumstances have changed, it is expected that Sivaram would get bail. But TDP members revealed that the cases filed were non-bailable. Jagan and his government were said to have tortured Kodela and his family members to frighten TDP head Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP members.
