Krishna and his Leela, is an OTT based Netflix Contemporary romance drama film produced by Rana Daggubatti and directed by Kshanam fame Ravikanth Perepu.
Written in a conversational tone and set in a latter-day world, the movie, however shares a different theme from its traditional counterpart where Lord Krishna is always grouped by girls spite he didn't dumped her faithful Radha on it. The new one, however shows a trio of one-guy-two-women and the whole story then revolves around them.
Story
Krishna(played by Siddhu Jonnalagadda) breakup with his girlfriend Satya (Shraddha Srinath), and feeling dejected, he thinks to move on in his life and focus on his Career goals. But life has different plans for him as he falls in love with another women Radha (Shalini Vadnikatti) but his job leads him to Bangalore where he again met his first love Satya. Krishna date both the girls at the same time hiding secrets from each one of them. But time is high now and he needs to choose the right one for him between the two.
What is liked about film
Jonnalagadda plays a confused lover here and he really plays it pretty well. He keeps it engaging the both way, his looks and body language. The movie is more to praise about the young actor of how he plays his difficult role so well.
The movie, however, also depicts the fun side of love that is hooking and breaking up. Krishna runs after girls but end up getting dumped by them. Frankly speaking, this is what the whole movie is all about. However, the story depicting the trio keeps the viewer involved as to see whom does Krishna chose at the end.
Minus points
The movie is nothing new as it holds the average old concept where a guy dates two girls simultaneously and this has been already explored in many Telugu and Hindi movies.
There is nothing in the movie to keep your expectations so high for. When you expect it to get end so well, this doesn't really happen in it. The movie warps so fast that you miss what you did expect to see.
Conclusion
Krishna and his Leela is a well-woven story which keeps the viewer engaged all the time. So if you are looking for a weekend time in something old love concept in a fashion manner, then you go for it without a second thought.
