Leaders of the TDP Meet Pawan in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: On Saturday, Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan met with a group of TDP leaders in Visakhapatnam. Former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, former Gajuwaka MLA P Srinivasa Rao, Vizag South in-charge Gandi Babji, and Vizag North MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao were among the TDP delegation members. The TDP representatives gave Pawan an explanation of the current political climate as well as other matters pertaining to the north coastal region of Andhra Pradesh.
They were grateful that he had promptly provided financial support to fishermen who had lost their boats in the recent fire at the Vizag fishing harbour. The 49 fishing families impacted by the fire received checks for $50,000 each from the actor-turned-politician on Friday. According to Pawan, several antisocial characters have turned the waterfront into a safe refuge for their illicit activities.
"The state administration hasn't even created a reliable lighting system, despite its prior promises to modernise the waterfront. The marine police wing will secure the harbour if the TDP-Jana Sena combination took power. There will be a fishing jetty built every 30 km. With the 450 crore it spent on the Rushikonda resort, the government might have built a new harbour, according to Pawan.
