Lokesh Begins Enforcement of 'Red Book,' Promises Accountability Across Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh has announced that his administration has begun implementing the much-discussed 'Red Book,' which aims to hold lawbreakers accountable. Lokesh emphasized that no one responsible for violating law and order will be exempt from punishment. Several IPS officers and other government officials have already been suspended as part of this initiative.
"Our mission is to ensure the right people are in the right roles," Lokesh remarked.
The Red Book was introduced before the elections, detailing names of leaders and officials who had allegedly engaged in corruption or broken the law during the YSR Congress Party's rule. Lokesh had vowed to take action against those listed once the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) came into power, and he is now fulfilling that promise. Earlier today, Lokesh visited a government school in Srikakulam, where he evaluated the facilities and reviewed the overall educational standards.
Lokesh also addressed the media and fielded questions regarding his party's "Super Six" promises. He proudly pointed out that the pensions and Mega DSC initiatives have already been implemented and promised Diwali to introduce a free gas connection scheme.
Lokesh further assured the public that the NDA government will not privatize the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, dispelling ongoing rumors. He commented on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's upcoming visit to Tirumala, "When visiting sacred places, it's important to respect the traditions. I hope Jagan follows TTD rules and signs the declaration form before entering the temple."
This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Lokesh's political efforts to promote transparency and accountability in Andhra Pradesh's governance.
