Lokesh Issues a Police Notice After YCP Attacks on TDP
Already, the YCP administration has received a lot of criticism for what is seen as its abusive use of the police. This is a clearer manifestation of the same trend that has recently emerged in this area.
Lokesh's Yuvagalam yatra was attacked by YCP forces earlier, where TDP leaders were present. They threw stones at the audience and used sticks to strike TDP leaders, hurting several of them.
Nara Lokesh has been served with legal papers, and the police have arrived to take action against TDP leaders, who are the obvious victims here. According to the police report, Lokesh made derogatory comments against the chief minister, Jagan. This followed the arrest of fifty Yuvagalam volunteers and employees associated with Lokesh.
Anger at the police response prompted Lokesh to ask, "What wrong did I speak?" I challenge Jagan to find the flaw in my reasoning. The London trip cost him 12 billion rupees, which is a lot of money. There's no bad with that. Lokesh continued, saying that YCP forces are fighting TDP troops at every turn, and that despite being the victims, it is the TDP troops who are being targeted by police.
In a related development, 50 volunteers were held by police as they arrived in three vehicles at the location of Lokesh's Yuvagalam yatra. What may happen to these volunteers, according to Lokesh, who claims they were transported to businesses controlled by YCP executives.
