Lokesh to Visit US for Investment Drive, Aims to Boost Youth Employment in Andhra Pradesh
In a bid to attract investments and create job opportunities for the youth of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh, Minister for Human Resource Development, IT, Electronics, and Communications, will embark on a week-long visit to the United States starting on October 25.
Lokesh's visit includes a high-profile appearance at the ‘Synergy’ annual meeting in Las Vegas on October 29, where he will join an esteemed group of attendees, including former US Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Steve Forbes, and over 3,000 IT industry leaders. His journey begins on October 25 in San Francisco, where he will meet with Oracle representatives and potential investors, followed by a meeting with the Indian Consulate General on October 26. Lokesh will also visit companies and investors in Austin, tour Google’s campus, and engage with financial backers in New York.
In parallel, a delegation from the Korean Consulate General recently met with Lokesh at the State Secretariat to explore investment opportunities. The Korean KEXIM Bank expressed a keen interest in supporting infrastructure projects across the state.
