Lucifer Remake With this Flop Director?

The director VV Vinayak is believed to have been signed to direct the Tollywood remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer, which starred Mohanlal in the lead role. It was earlier reported that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has bought the remake rights of Lucifer for his father Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Previously, it was heard that Sukumar, who is popularly known for movies such as Arya and Rangasthalam, would direct Lucifer remake. But now, as per the latest buzz, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are planning to bring VV Vinayak to direct the film

VV Vinayak, who has delivered back to back commercially flop films, is waiting for a chance to bounce back. The discussion is still going on and as per the reports Ram Charan is also considering Vamshi Paidipally and Srinu Vaitla’s names for this film.

Reports have also emerged that Ram Charan will also play a key role in this remake. He may reprise the role originally played by Tovino Thomas or Prithviraj Sukumaran, who had directed that film.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is currently working with Koratala Siva for an upcoming film, which is being produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. Mahesh Babu will be seen essaying the role of a college student in this movie.
