Mamangam Telugu Official Trailer – All About the War!

Mamangam is an upcoming period action film directed by M. Padmakumar. The film stars Mammootty in the lead role. Though the film is made in Malayalam, it is also getting released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Now, the official trailer of the film in Telugu was released. The trailer has shown some interesting war sequences and how the women of the place make themselves strong as they don’t even have the rights to cry when their loved ones die during the war!

Cinema work is superb. The movie stars Unni Mukundan, Manikandan Achari, Prachi Tehlan, Mohan Sharma, Anu Sithara, Malavika Menon, Abhirami V Iyer, Kaniha among others. The film is based on the medieval Mamankam festival celebrated during the 17th century on the banks of the Bharathappuzha, where warriors known as Chaaverukal plots against the Zamorin rulers to win over them. Venu Kunnappilly under the Kavya Film Company is producing the film.

In Telugu, Geetha Arts has bought distribution rights. The story is written by Sajeev Pillai while Shanker Ramakrishnan handled screenplay. Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara have composed background music while M. Jayachandran composed tunes for the songs. Being made with Rs 45 crores budget, the film has already created a great buzz. The movie will hit the screens on November 21^st in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
