West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben at Kolkata airport yesterday. Mamata was about to fly to New Delhi at that time while Modi's wife was in Kolkata to visit Dhanbad. They greeted each other and had a conversation for some time. According to the sources, Mamata has gifted Jashodaben a beautiful traditional saree! Jashodaben offered prayers at the Kalyaneswari temple at Asansol in Bengal.
The pictures of the meeting of Mamata and Jashodaben at the airport are going viral now. Sources revealed that Mamata meets PM Modi today to discuss the funds for her state.
