Manmadhudu 2 Receives Mixed Reviews!

Manmadhudu 2, featuring Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh, has received mixed responses and ratings from audiences. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the movie is a romantic comedy and is an official remake of a French movie I Do. The title of the movie was inspired by Nagarjuna’s hit movie Manmadhudu. The movie is about a 40-year old boy who doesn’t fall in love and revolves around his encounter with a young girl.

As per reviews from audiences, the story of the movie is not that great and as compared to the classic Manmadhudu, the sequel is a disgrace. The first half is slow. The second half is entertaining and emotional. The movie is depending on Vennela Kishore’s comedy.

Nagarjuna’s performance is good and he is looking much younger. But his performance is not new and people have viewed it in his previous films. So, there is nothing to complain about. Rakul Preet Singh is looking glamorous and has done a decent job. Her chemistry with Nag is one of the attractions of the film. However, there is nothing unique about her stuff.

The huge ensemble cast viz. Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Jhansi etc. have done their job well. Cinematography is good but the background score is average. There are some good songs, but that’s it. On the whole, the movie is nowhere close to its iconic sequel Manmadhudu.
