Meera, the daughter of Vijay Antony, commits suicide.

Around 3 am on Tuesday, composer-actor Vijay Antony's sixteen-year-old daughter Meera committed suicide at their Alwarpet home. The reason for the high school student's tragic decision to hang herself to death is yet unknown.

Meera, who was largely kept out of the spotlight, gained notoriety earlier this year when a pic of her wearing a winner's sash went viral online.

The last time Vijay Antony made headlines, it was to debunk accusations that he had planned to cause disorder during an AR Rahman event. Additionally, he said he will file a defamation lawsuit against the YouTube channel that originated this story.

According to reports, Meera, a student in the 12th grade, was experiencing stress. In Chennai, she attended a private school.

According to reports, Meera was discovered hanged at her Teynampet, Chennai, home early on Tuesday.She apparently was rushed to a hospital in Mylapore, but the staff there proclaimed her dead.
