Mega Prince To Make His Bollywood Debut
Varun Tej Konidela’s next movie, the yet-to-be-titled #VT13, was launched on Monday in a grand way. The movie is an action drama with a story based on the Indian Air Force and will mark his debut in Bollywood. Inspired by true events, the movie is billed to be a patriotic, edge-of-the-seat drama that will showcase the indomitable spirits of our heroes on the frontlines and the challenges they face.
Talking about the movie, Varun Tej said, “I am honoured to have received the opportunity to essay the role of an Indian Air Force Officer and celebrate their valor on the big screen. We strive to make a movie that we hope will be a perfect tribute to the Indian Air Force and this script for this movie provides a challenge to break out of my previous roles.”
He further added “As an (IAF) officer, my character has layers that will be interesting to showcase in this movie. I will be undergoing huge training and excited to see how the audiences react to this one.”
The film will be g by helmed debutant Shakti Pratap Singh – a seasoned ad-film maker, cinematographer and VFX enthusiast. Shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously, the movie will go on floors in November 2023 and hit screens in 2023.
