Megastar Hoists Flag With His Mother

Independence Day celebrations were held grandly at Chiranjeevi’s Blood Bank in Hyderabad. Chiru, along with his mother Anjana Devi, and maker Allu Aravind participated in the celebrations.

Anjana Devi hoisted the flag while Chiranjeevi assisted her in this process and they also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by offering flowers to his pic. Speaking on the eve, the actor remembered the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country, India. He also mentioned about the mothers of the brave soldiers for allowing their children into the freedom fights.

Independence Day is celebrated every year on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the UK on 15 August 1947.
