Megastar Suffering with Serious Liver Ailment
Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is suffering from liver ailment though he has no habit of drinking alcohol. Amitabh met with an accident when he was shooting an action sequence for the film Coolie which was released in 1982. This was a major accident that required a lot of blood. 200 people donated 60 bottles of blood with which Big B survived. But, another problem aroused as the doctor injected the blood without testing. An unknown donor has Australian antigen Hepatitis and his blood which is injected into Amitabh’s body attacked his liver. “Because of urgency, the doctor didn’t test the blood,” Amitabh said.
He asked people to stop discriminating the ones who are suffering from Hepatitis B. "If I can survive with 25 percent of my liver, there are people who survive even with 12 percent. However, that is a stage no one wants to reach," he said. Experts said that the function of the liver fails only it is damaged up to 80 – 90 percent. Awareness about the disease and early detection can help people to get a vaccination to save their lives.
On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan is going to be seen in a Telugu film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. He is playing Gosayi Venkanna who is the guru for Narasimha Reddy (Megastar Chiranjeevi). The film will hit the screens on October 2nd. Apart from Sye Raa, Amitabh is going to be seen in 6 other movies – Jhund, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Butterfly, Brahmastra, Chehre and Gulabo Sitabo.
