Megastar Tested Positive For Coronovirus

Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for Covid 19 and this news was confirmed by himself as he took to his official Twitter page and confirmed the same. The star said that “Took a test for Coronavirus before resuming ‘Acharya’ shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested +ive. I am currently asymptomatic and quarantining myself at home.”

He also added saying, “Request all those who met me in the last 5 few days to also undergo covid tests and will update on my recovery soon”.

As per the latest update, Megastar has no symptoms and is under home quarantine. Recently Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi met Telangana CM KCR, said about 10 lakh people in the Telangana state are dependent on the movie industry directly or indirectly and they have lost their income due to cancellation of shootings and closure of cinema theatres. On Saturday CM KCR announced that the cinema halls can reopen in view of the ongoing Unlock rules and process, even as he announced that a film city on par with international standards would be set up on the city outskirts.

On the other hand, both the stars, Chiru and Nag donated Rs 1 Cr and Rs 50 lakh respectively to the CM Relief Fund towards the needy people who are affected by the recent heavy rains and floods. On the professional front, Chiranjeevi will be seen essaying lead role in Koratala’ directorial venture Acharya.
