Mother's Day Special: 5 Best Tollywood Movies to Watch With Your Dear 'Maa'

Mom is the glue that holds the family together; without her, things would fall apart. Our wonderful Tollywood filmmakers shared some touching stories about mothers to illustrate this point.
So, in honour of Mother's Day, Hans India has compiled a list of 5 heart-warming movies just for you. Look at this!
1. Matru Devo Bhava
A music teacher, her husband, and their four kids live in a beautiful story. But after her spouse passes away, she learns she has cancer. So she makes the tough decision to place her kids for adoption. Even now, as we rewatch the film, we find ourselves becoming emotional over the film's heartbreaking parts.
2. Amma Cheppindi
Sharwanand and Suhasini played the main characters in this film. Sharwa's mother has been at his side through all of his successes and failures as the character of a man with a mental disability. But in the end, when his mom asks him to take the bomb out of town, he does so and gives his life to her.
3. Life Is Beautiful
This film, again directed by Shekar Kammula, is an intense ride. It highlights Amala's role as a single parent and the ideals she instils in her children. After receiving her cancer diagnosis, she gives them to her brother so that he can further his schooling. They, too, maintain their will, excel academically, and eventually re-join their mother after she has beaten terminal cancer.
4. Bichagadu
The sentimental premise of this film by Vijay Antony made it an unexpected smash. For the sake of curing his mother, this wealthy businessman decides to live as a beggar for two days on the advice of a saint.
5. Amma Rajinama
This old film is a classic because it shows how important a housewife is to a family. Sharada, who played the lead part, realises that her children will never respect her, so she quits her housework job to send them a powerful message.
