Mumbai Hotel Charges Rs 1700 For 2 Eggs!
Recently, we have seen 5-Star Hotel in Chandigarh charging Actor Rahul Bose Rs 442 for Two Bananas. And it became viral and led to a national debate. The hotel was also fined with Rs 25000 for charging too much for two bananas. And here comes another such scene. To say, it is even more shocking for the people to know that the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai charged Rs 1700 for boiled eggs for a Delhi-based Documentary photographer named Kartik Dhar.
Kartik Dhar visited the Four Seasons Hotel recently and he got shocked after seeing the bill. The Star Hotel charged Rs 1,700 for two boiled eggs and 18 percent service tax as well. Which place on the planet charges Rs 850 for a single egg? This makes people understand how stars hotels are looting money from them. But we cannot blame the hotels alone as people are not caring to pay any amount for their enjoyment and to show their status.
The photographer shared the pic of the bill on social media and tagged Rahul Bose asking to protest with him. “Brother, Let's Protest,” he said. As the pic is going viral, it seems this Mumbai-based hotel should also have to pay a huge fine for cheating people. It is also important for the people to understand that they should complain like these two persons (Rahul and Kartik) to get justice, but shouldn’t pay the amount charged by the hotel, if it is too much! We can even see shops and hotels selling the water bottles for the price more than MRP which is an offense!
