Murali Mohan not Contesting Lok Sabha Elections

Actor and Rajahmundry MP Maganti Murali Mohan made it clear that he will not be contesting the general elections 2019. He confirmed that his daughter-in-law Roopa is also not going to contest.

Murali Mohan said that he wants to focus on his Trust and its charity activities. Denying reports that he has been denied a ticket for 2019, Murali Mohan said that he won with a majority of 1 lakh votes in 2014.

He said that he is confident of winning with a majority of 2 lakh in 2019 elections but he wants to focus only on providing free education to around 1000 students through his Trust and other activities.

Murali Mohan said that he would continue in politics and discharge his duties as a loyal Party worker.

Though some political analysts opined that Murali Mohan has been denied a ticket by Chandrababu, sources close to Murali Mohan said that is not true.
