Naga Chaitanya Replaced Dhruv Vikram!

Currently, Naga Chaitanya is working on a multi-starrer ‘Venky Mama’ in which his uncle Venkatesh is another hero. Chay has also signed for another film in the direction of Sekhar Kammula and this news was revealed long ago. But now the latest we hear is that Naga Chaitanya is not the first choice of Sekhar Kammula as he approached actor Dhruv Vikram, son of actor Vikram to play the lead role in his film. But as Dhruv is currently working on the project ‘Adithya Varma’, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, he has rejected Kammula’s project.

And then Kammula approached Chay to do the role for which he agreed immediately as Chay from a long time wants to work under Kamula’s direction. The film will have its formal launch with a pooja ceremony on August 25^th. The film is yet to be titled and will be produced by Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas. The movie will be released in the first half of 2020. Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead and she will be seen as a classical dancer in the film while Chay is going to be seen as a Telangana guy.

Sai Pallavi earlier worked with Sekhar Kammula for Fidaa which became a big hit and now, for the second time, she is working with this director to get another hit! On the other side, Chay is in success zone as his recent flick Majili became a super hit. People are expecting a romantic love story from Kammula, though the genre is not yet revealed by the makers. If the film has become successful, it could be a great disappointment to Dhruv as he might get the feeling of missing interesting Telugu debut!
