Naga Chaitanya’s Fierce ‘Vrushakarma’ Transformation Sparks Buzz
Actor Naga Chaitanya has generated massive excitement among fans after the makers of his upcoming film Vrushakarma released new behind-the-scenes (BTS) images showcasing his intense physical transformation for the role. The pictures, which quickly went viral on social media, highlight the actor’s rugged new look and the demanding preparation he has undergone for the project.
The mythological action drama is directed by Karthik Dandu, who previously achieved success with the supernatural thriller Virupaksha. The film is being produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in association with Sukumar Writings, with Bapineedu presenting the project.
One of the newly released stills features Chaitanya during a rigorous workout session, revealing a lean, muscular physique developed specifically for the character. In the film, he portrays Arjun, a powerful figure whose journey reportedly combines intense action with emotional depth.
Another BTS image shows the actor in a bruised, battle-hardened look, suggesting the presence of high-octane action sequences and dramatic confrontations. The gritty visuals hint that the character will face significant struggles, making this one of the most physically and emotionally demanding roles in Chaitanya’s career.
The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sparsh Shrivastava and Jayaram in key roles. Music for the film is composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath, while cinematography is handled by Ragul D Herian and editing by Naveen Nooli.
Trade sources say the film’s theatrical rights for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka have reportedly been acquired by Sithara Entertainments for around ₹45 crore, indicating strong confidence from distributors.
With its ambitious scale, intriguing storyline and Chaitanya’s striking transformation, Vrushakarma is rapidly emerging as one of the most anticipated Telugu films currently under production.
