Nagarjuna’s Unique Role in Remake Film!

Nagarjuna who is currently hosting Bigg Boss 3 has seen back to back flops with the films Officer, Devadas and Manmadhudu 2. All the films were utter flops and left producers in the loss. Manmadhudu 2 is criticized for its bold content and kiss scenes, without any interesting story. Though director Rahul Ravindran and the team tried to manage everything by giving some reasons, people were in no mood to here to them back then. And so, now Nagarjuna wants to be more conscious in choosing the films.

According to the sources, Nagarjuna is going to do the role of Income-tax officer in the Telugu remake of Hindi hit film Raid. Raid is an action crime drama, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and it features Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in crucial roles. Raid is inspired by real-life IT raid conducted by the officers of the IT Department under the leadership of the Indian Revenue Service officer in the year 1980.

If everything goes well, Nagarjuna will be seen as an income tax officer! Till now, Nagarjuna hasn’t played this kind of role and so his fans are getting excited to see him in the role, ever since the news is out. Sources revealed that Nagarjuna is showing interest to act in this film and the movie will be produced by Sunil Narang under the Asian Cinemas banner. The makers are planning to rope in a top character actor to play the role of actor Saurabh Shukla in the original.
