Naidu Challenges YSRCP's Rule in Andhra Pradesh
TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu stirred the political pot, declaring the YSRCP's time in Andhra Pradesh is limited. Speaking at an election rally in Dhone, he took aim at YSRCP's head, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Naidu questioned Reddy's absence from the Secretariat throughout his term, accusing him of neglecting his duties.
Highlighting unmet promises, Naidu criticized Reddy for failing to initiate projects or create jobs in five years. He slammed Reddy for holding back ₹1,500 crore owed to hospitals under the Aarogyasri scheme, risking people's health.
In a bid to win voters, Naidu pledged stable power tariffs, job security, and support for minorities. He urged the public to oust leaders who've "ruined" lives with false notions of power permanence.
Naidu vowed to resolve Dhone's water scarcity with Handri-Neeva project water and framed the upcoming elections as a clash between his vision and Jagan's "hatred."
The TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena form the NDA coalition in Andhra Pradesh. Elections are set for May 13 for the state's 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
