Naidu Lambasts CM Jagan, Accuses YSRC of State Plunder and Kuppam Neglect
Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), didn't mince words as he accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of ascending to power with the sole intention of looting the state. During his three-day visit to the Kuppam constituency, Naidu addressed the public in Santhipuram and Rama Kuppam, where he claimed that the YSRC government's enactment of the AP Land Titling Act was merely a strategy to acquire land for its own gain.
Naidu went further, suggesting that Jagan was growing increasingly anxious about his potential defeat in the upcoming elections. He emphasized the significance of Kuppam as a laboratory for the entire Telugu community, where he introduced Israeli farm technology. Naidu contrasted his developmental achievements in Kuppam with the inefficiency of the YSRC government, which failed to complete even 13% of the Handri-Neeva project in five years.
The TDP leader questioned Jagan's apparent neglect of Kuppam's progress, alleging that Energy Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy was more interested in exploiting granite reserves in the region than fostering development. Naidu criticized YSRC leaders for prioritizing personal gain over the welfare of the state and failing to address widespread illegal quarrying.
Naidu concluded with a promise to tackle the state's issues once the TDP-JSP coalition came to power in the upcoming elections, vowing to recover any misappropriated funds from YSRC leaders and staunchly advocating for the state's welfare.
