Nara Lokesh Addresses Andhra Pradesh's Call for Change in Exclusive Interview
In an exclusive interview, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh discussed the critical issues plaguing Andhra Pradesh and the expectations of its people as the state gears up for the next elections. Lokesh emphasized that development in the state had come to a standstill, leading to rampant unemployment and widespread dissatisfaction with the current government.
Responding to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's allegations that he, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan were "political tourists," Lokesh refuted these claims, highlighting that the government was attempting to tarnish Naidu's image through various means. He noted that the focus should be on governance and development rather than personal attacks.
Lokesh asserted that the people's foremost priority is employment, and the TDP's 'Mahashakti' scheme, outlined in their upcoming manifesto, aims to empower women with scholarships, free bus travel, and more. Additionally, the TDP's manifesto, set to be released soon, promises inclusive governance catering to various sections of society.
Regarding election fairness, Lokesh highlighted the party's efforts to verify the voter's list through the "cluster unit booth" system, addressing irregularities. Drawing on his experience and determination, he expressed confidence that the TDP-JSP alliance would deliver people-friendly governance in Andhra Pradesh after the 2024 polls, focusing on empowerment and development.
