Nara Lokesh Clarifies TDP's Chance Meeting; Expresses Gratitude for Healthcare Initiative
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu's recent meeting with Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shiva Kumar has drawn attention in political circles, prompting speculation. However, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh has emphasized that the encounter was coincidental and should not be overanalyzed for political implications.
Lokesh clarified, "What's wrong with meeting DK Shiva Kumar?...He met Chandrababu, but it doesn't imply an alliance with the INDIA bloc." This statement aims to dispel any assumptions about the TDP's alignment with the INDIA bloc based on the meeting.
The chance rendezvous between Naidu and Shivakumar at Bengaluru airport has triggered discussions about potential political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh, particularly concerning the upcoming Lok Sabha and state assembly elections. Lokesh further asserted the TDP's consistent support for the rights of the Backward Classes (BCs) and highlighted the party's historical role in this regard.
In a separate development, TDP MP Kesineni Nani expressed gratitude to the Modi government for its initiative in establishing the Vijayawada Critical Care Unit. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya laid the foundation stone for two critical care blocks and a BSL-3 Laboratory in Vijayawada, emphasizing the government's commitment to providing quality healthcare infrastructure and services for the nation's well-being and development.
