Nara Lokesh has become a beacon of hope for many people in Andhra Pradesh. In recent weeks, Lokesh has assisted Indians stranded overseas in returning home and helped students secure seats in educational institutions despite initial setbacks.

In a recent incident, Lokesh promised financial assistance to a student unable to join IIIT Lucknow due to financial constraints, demonstrating his commitment to education and support for the youth.
Basavayya Chebrolu, a student from Athili village in the Tanuku constituency of West Godavari district, shared his predicament on social media platform X, tagging Lokesh. Basavayya secured the 930th rank in the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for Masters) 2024 and was accepted into the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Lucknow. However, the academic fees amounting to around Rs. 4 lakhs were beyond his financial means.
Within an hour, Lokesh responded, promising to sponsor Basavayya’s education. “You will study at IIIT Lucknow. You will pursue your dream. Let me take care of the fee. All the best, Basavayya!” he assured.
