Nara Lokesh Honors NTR’s Legacy, Appeals for NRI Support in U.S. Visit
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh concluded his U.S. tour by unveiling a statue of his grandfather and TDP founder, N.T. Rama Rao (NTR), in Atlanta on October 31, 2024. During the event, Lokesh celebrated NTR as a figure of immense pride for the Telugu community and reaffirmed that A.P. continues to uphold NTR’s ideals under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Lokesh highlighted that Naidu’s efforts over the years have elevated Andhra Pradesh’s brand on the global stage, drawing the interest of entrepreneurs worldwide. He expressed gratitude to the NRIs, whom he affectionately referred to as "Most Reliable Indians," for their ongoing support and encouraged them to contribute further to A.P.'s development.
Addressing the past YSRCP regime, Lokesh mentioned that a new chapter in his "red book" would soon unfold to hold accountable those who allegedly misused power, assuring that no one involved in such actions would go unpunished.
Lokesh also expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown to his family during Naidu’s recent detention, adding that the backing they received from the Telugu diaspora has strengthened their resolve.
