Nara Lokesh Launches Sankharavam Tour in North Andhra
Nara Lokesh, the former Minister and National General Secretary of TDP, kicked off his much-anticipated Sankharavam tour in North Andhra with grandeur on February 11. Beginning the tour from Ichchapuram, a significant town on the border of Andhra Pradesh and a stronghold for the Telugu Desam Party, Lokesh opted for public meetings instead of the conventional padayatra in North Andhra districts.
Received with enthusiasm by party State President K. Atchannaidu, Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, and Ichchapuram MLA Bendalam Ashok, Lokesh emphasized direct engagement with party workers during his visit. Personally interacting with them, he recognized and honored 50 activists for their dedicated use of the TDP’s app and advocacy for the party’s latest manifesto, ‘Babu Surety-Bhavishyatku Guarantee.’
Radiating confidence in the TDP's resurgence, Lokesh underscored the shortcomings of the ruling YSRCP in advancing state development. He asserted that people were eagerly anticipating the opportunity to cast their votes for the TDP, disillusioned by the governance under Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Lokesh's itinerary includes public meetings in Palasa and Tekkali constituencies, followed by a tour of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
