Netflix Scraps Baahubali Costs 100 Cr!

Is Rs 100 Cr a big amount? Maybe for you and me, but not for the popular OTT platform Netflix! The biggest digital platform has shocked everyone by scrapping out the series “Baahubali: Before the Beginning” which costs Rs 100 Cr! It is said to be the prequel of Baahubali: The Beginning.

The web series was announced by Netflix and ever since, the team which includes Praveen Satturu, Dev Katta, and Rajamouli is working hard for it. But, Netflix didn’t like the output and scrapped it completely.

Not just that, it is again being shot with the budget of Rs 200 Cr. Netflix has a lot of confidence on this series as the film with a sequel has collected stunning amounts at the box office. And it is the reason why Netflix is waiting for years for the output it want.

It is said that Netflix has chosen another team for the series. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. According to earlier revelations, Baahubali: Before the Beginning comprises of three segments – The Rise of Sivagami, Chaturanga, and Queen of Mahishmathi. We have to wait and see if Netflix has made changes to it as well!
