New IT Jobs Are Because Of Hyderabad: KTR.

One-third of the new jobs created in the information technology sector in India during the last fiscal year are in Hyderabad. KT Rama Rao, Telangana's Minister for information technology, industry, and commerce, said that out of 4.5 lakh new jobs created in the previous year in the IT sector, 1.57 lakh were made in Hyderabad. The Minister said that IT exports from Hyderabad increased from Rs 57,000 crore in 2014-15 to 1,83,000 crore in 2021-22.
KTR was speaking at the opening of the new innovative campus of Bosch Global Software Technologies in Hyderabad. KTR said that Telangana has become extremely attractive for investment for various reasons.
"This is one Indian city that does not compromise when building infrastructure which keeps pace with the growth. It is truly a testament to our honorable CM's commitment to the growth of this city," he said.
Rama Rao claimed that the initial estimates of large multinationals who invest in Hyderabad are usually conservative but hire more talent because of the energy and abundance of inspiring young innovators they find here.
The Minister also recalled, "I have been told that you have already recruited 1,400 people, and I believe the number will be more than 3,000."
