Nine Terrorist Camps Destroyed in Operation Sindoor

India’s Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, successfully neutralised nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK). The operation was carried out with precision in the early hours of May 7 and targeted facilities associated with major terror groups including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).
According to military sources, the following locations were hit:
Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur (JeM HQ)
Markaz Taiba, Muridke (LeT HQ, trained 26/11 attackers)
Sarjal, Tehra Kalan (JeM training site)
Mehmoona Joya, Sialkot (base of Pathankot attackers)
Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala (LeT explosives training)
Markaz Abbas, Kotli (JeM fidayeen training)
Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli (HM base)
Shawai Nalla Camp, Muzaffarabad (LeT training camp)
Syedna Bilal Camp, Muzaffarabad (JeM operations base)
The operation began at 1:44 AM and was completed swiftly. Military officials emphasized that the targets were chosen specifically for their role in terror attacks on Indian soil. No Pakistani military assets were engaged to avoid escalation, highlighting India’s focus on counter-terrorism rather than military confrontation.
The airstrikes underscore India’s resolve to dismantle terror networks across the border and send a clear message that such attacks will face swift and forceful retaliation.
