No Food For The Actress, Until The Hero Eats

Neha Dhupia made her film debut in 1994 as a child artist in Malayalam movie Minnaram. Her Bollywood debut was Qayamat: City Under Threat. But the actress came into limelight after delivering Julie.

Neha has spent a decade in the industry and has gone through many ups and downs. According to her, it wasn’t a smooth ride for her. Recently, in an interview, she talked about the horrific experiences that she faced down the South industry.

During an interview, she said, "In the past when I was doing a South film, they always insisted on feeding the hero first and I would just be like, I am hungry and they would be like, 'But the hero is in a shot and he will pick up the plate first'."

She further added, "But that was many years ago. Things like that don’t happen anymore. It happened once on a set with me. It did not bother me because I was just like, ok fine."

The actress is not a stranger to the Tollywood audience, as she has been part of some Telugu films like Parama Veera Chakra and Ninne Ishtapaddanu. In Dasari Narayana Rao’s directorial venture Parama Veera Chakra, she shared the screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna.

She tied the knot with Angad Bedi and the couple has one girl. She was last seen in Bollywood film Helicopter Eela, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, starring Kajol in the lead.
