No Second Time Win From Barabanki-UP
The polling of ongoing Lok Sabha election will enter the fifth phase on 6th May, and the counting and the results will be declared on 23rd May. All the parties are trying their hard to get maximum numbers of votes from the public, as their voting decides the fate.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Awadh region, at Barabanki parliamentary constituency, no party has ever managed to win for two times in a row.
Congress PL Punia and Former Union minister, Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad, have represented Barabanki in Lok Sabha.
The Congress Party has been successful 5 times, Samajwadi Party for 4 times Bhartiya Janta Party Twice and Bahujan Samaj party once. The Barabanki Lok Sabha seat is reserved for the members of Scheduled Class and has a high Dalit population and Kurmi influence as well.
The Maximum number of 80 members to Parliament were sent from Uttar Pradesh and will poll all 7 phases of elections. The results of the voting will be declared on 23rd May.
