One More South Film Going To Bollywood

Karthi's film Khaidi is going to Bollywood and the Hindi remake will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures along with Reliance Entertainment. The endeavor marks Dream Warrior’s foray into the Bollywood. The movie is an intense action-thriller, which was released in 2019 on the occasion of Diwali. The movie is all about the story of an ex-convict on his way to meet his daughter for the first time and accompanied by a police officer. But before he reaches his daughter, he has to face a gang of drug mafia.
The film was helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by SR Prabhu under Desk Warriors Pictures banner. The original version, which is in Tamil, received positive reviews from critics on its opening day and also did a decent collection at the box office.
Khaidi is a movie, which has no heroine and no songs. Everyone is eager to know who will reprise Karthi’s angry young man avatar in Khaidi’s Hindi remake. Currently, the makers are busy with the finalization of the cast for this project.
On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj is busy wrapping up his current project, Vijay Sethupathi starrer upcoming action-drama Master, bankrolled by Xavier Britto under the banner XB Film Creators, the company’s first production.
