One More Star Chooses OTT Platform

South Indian Actor, Suriya has also decided to release his upcoming movie ‘Aakashame Nee Haddhu Raa’ on a digital platform, which is a daring step taken by Suriya.

Suriya Sivakumar’s Soorarai Pottru is released in Telugu and is titled as Akasame Ne Haddura, which is helmed by Sudha Kongara. Amazon Prime Video and Suriya have officially announced on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi that the movie will release on 30th October on the OTT platform.

The upcoming film Aakashame Nee Haddhu Raa is based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath, who will be the founder of the budget airline Air Deccan. The film also features Dr. M Mohan Babu, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat in supporting roles.

The film has the music by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography is taken care of by Niketh Bommi. The movie Soorarai Pottru is bankrolled by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their respective banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. The Telugu version of the movie has dialogues by Rakendu Mouli and Suriya has decided to release this movie Aakashame Nee Haddhu Raa’ in some other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Suriya said the decision to release the movie on the OTT platform was taken after his creative team has come to this final decision.
