Opposition Leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan Celebrate Bhogi, Decry YSRCP's Policies
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan joined the Bhogi celebrations in the capital region of Manda on Sunday. The event witnessed the symbolic burning of government orders (GOs) representing policies made by the ruling YSRCP government over the past four and a half years.
As part of the celebrations, the TDP and Jana Sena organized a three-day program called 'Ra Kadalira'. In Guntur district, a bonfire ceremony was held at the TDP office under the leadership of Telugu youth. The event, aptly named 'Keedu Tolagali... AP Velagali', saw the burning of GO documents from the YSRCP regime. TDP leaders also took part in burning YSRCP manifesto papers, making a statement against the current government's policies.
The Bhogi festival, traditionally associated with the disposal of old and unneeded items through fire, took on a political tone as opposition leaders used it as a platform to highlight their grievances with the YSRCP's decisions. This fiery event underscores the ongoing political tensions in Andhra Pradesh as the opposition voices its concerns against the ruling party's policies.
